Kristo Raik picked up right where he left off by winning the Pro EDGL #2 event in Estonia. Kristo said his 3 stroke lead slipped away during the final round, but he was able to secure the win in an extra hole playoff! Kristo is definitely coming into prime form after being allowed to resume competitions in Estonia. His rating is also showing the progression as he has hit a new milestone of 1001 as of today… keep it going Kristo!
Kent Schafer also took home a 1st Place trophy this past weekend at the Throwdown at OC down in Alabama. Kent won the MA40 division, and said his 150g Banzai and Steady BL were the tools that helped get it done!
Shasta Criss went up to Callahan, CA to play The McConaughy Disc Golf Rendezvous B-Tier. For this event he played in the MPO division, where he finished in 6th place among some very talented NorCal players.
Noah Meintsma got to stretch out the arm, as he likes to do, on a new layout on a ball golf course for the DGPT Portland Open event. Noah finished in 28th place in the MPO division after three very long rounds.
Matt Bell was also in attendance for the DGPT Portland Open. Matt was able to bring home a few bucks as he ended the weekend in 45th place in a world-class field of disc golfers.
Ezra Hapner moved up to the MPO division for the Battle of the Redwoods event. He was doing well all weekend, sitting as high as 4th place at one point. He ended the weekend in respectable 11th place. Ezra said that he is definitely learning more and more about his abilities and gaining overall confidence by taking the leap up to the Open divison!
