Team DGA was once again out in force, here’s the results of their battles!
Shasta Criss placed 1st in Open in the Minnesota Doubles Series after driving 1200 miles straight from Texas.
Randy Herold moved up to MPO when the MP40 didn’t get filled, and fought well with 1000+ rated golf and a 4th Place finish!
Matt Bell showed up at the Vintage Open with a stellar 5th Place finish in MPO, with a highlight on the Disc Golf Network of almost making a rolled up BlowFly from deep in the weeds 🙂
Ben Llena battled back after a rough couple opening rounds in the 7th Annual ZipLine Open by throwing straight Pipeline shots and canning long putts with his Steadys. He finished 7th Place MPO.
Casey Trudeau opened the Seneca Spring Fling with his highest rated round of 1030, battled wind and rain after that to finish 9th Place MPO in a strong field.
Noah Meintsma averaged 1013-rated golf to finish 27th MPO at the Vintage Open DGPT Silver Series.
Alex Covey played the River Park Open XVII, and despite falling for some of the “bait holes” in Round 1, made the correction during Round 2 and used his Breaker to fight back to 6th Place in MA1.
Last but not least, Team DGA’s Ezra Hapner put himself in a good position heading into the final round of the Auburn Amateur, but through a series of unfortunate events missed his tee time and had to swallow a penalty 7 on the first hole. He kept his head up and birdied his way back to even par, eventually finishing 11th in MA1.
