Busy weekend for Team DGA, let’s see who did what!
Matt Bell led the field in Circle 1 putting during the Jonesboro Open and got 20th Place MPO!
Kristine King took down the FPO field at the Levi Memorial over the weekend, great shooting KK!
Noah Meintsma shot 1000-rated golf to get in the cash at the Jonesboro Open.
Trevor Harbolt, also at Jonesboro, shot a fantastic final round and got a big boost of confidence heading into Mid-America Open!
Shasta Criss placed 5th in MPO at the Bassett Creek Open.
Ben Llena used Hellfires, Matt Bell ProSeries Steadys, and (of course) Aftershocks to carve lines and get birdies at the Eastbound and Down at Boundary Waters.
Last but not least, we’ll leave you with a sad and relatable tale from our very own Randy Herold, also competing in the Bassett Creek Open.
“I was winning by one shot going into the last hole, a 275′ open hole up a steep hill. The guy in 2nd parked his drive and I was pin high and 28′ left. The tailwind dropped my putt more than expected, I hit cage, and rolled 40′ down the hill. Then that happened three more times, ending in me taking a 6, tumbling to third place and averaging almost 40 points below my rating.” Sorry Randy, we’ve all been there–keep your chin up and great work leading up till then!
