Team DGA was out in force at the Ledgestone Insurance Open!
Congratulations to Team DGA Member Shasta Criss for taking 1st in the MP40 division with a 4-stroke margin of victory over a solid field. Shasta said, “I’m stoked to have put three solid rounds together to win this prestigious event. The three courses we played were a great variety and test of skills. I am happy to check off Illinois as another state with a win!”
Matt Bell had a great showing in the MPO division, with the last round sadly getting cancelled due to inclement weather. Matt said, “I am beyond grateful everyone was able to stay safe in the final round weather delay. There were some close calls from lightning after I made the decision to leave the area and seek better shelter then my car…It was shaping up to be the best Ledgestone yet and I’m sure they will be going bigger and better next year.”
Randy Herold also competed in MP40, and despite sliding down the leaderboard due to some unfortunate shots late in the rounds held on to 10th place in a very competitive division.
