Team DGA was resting up this last weekend, for the most part, with the exception of our own Dandridge Marsh getting out to cash at Steady Ed’s Birthday Bash in Lakeport, CA.
Since it’s a Dandridge Roundup, let’s dive into his event in a little more detail than we normally do!
“My first tournament in a while and tons of fun. First round of 27 was solid, but finished with 3 bogeys on the final 4 holes to end up -2 for the day. The the second round I cleaned up the mistakes and shot a bogey free -6 to come back to a tie for 5th against the young talent in AM1.
My shot of the event was hole 4 on day 2. Just missed a forehand turnover gap, clipped early branches and dropped right next to a big bush. No room for a reach back for a long approach shot. Ended up throwing a glow Hellfire thumber to 15 ft to save the par!”
Well done, Dandridge!
