I was born and raised in Missouri. After high school, I decided to attend Missouri State University to pursue a Math Education degree. For 5 years, I played Ultimate (frisbee) at MSU. After graduating, I moved back to Kansas City and began teaching High School Math. I had stopped playing Ultimate after college but still longed to see the flight of a disc. Around 2018, I picked up some disc golf discs and immediately fell in love, and have not looked back.

Strongest part of your game? What needs work?
Forehand off the tee and touchy forehand up shots. I need to work on incorporating footwork to my upshots instead of being standstill.
Best tip for a new player?
As silly as this may sound: Don’t try so hard. Throwing hard may not equate to distance at the start. Focus on pulling the disc smooth and flat.
