About Midrange Discs

DGA’s midrange disc lineup is here to fill your bag with essential go-to midranges whenever disc control is crucial. Steer through narrow wooded fairways shots, throw an overstable midrange with anhyzer for a perfect s-curve flex shot or go for mid-distance ace runs at the basket.
Midrange discs are the best all-round golf discs with the greatest control and flexibility for a wide range of shots. DGA has a range of some of the best midranges available to fill the needs of different player abilities and styles.

WHAT IS A MIDRANGE DISC AND WHY ARE MIDRANGES SO IMPORTANT?

Midrange discs are as their name implies the middle ground between putt and approach discs used for short shots and drivers used for distance and long fairway shots. Midrange discs are faster, more stable, and have a longer range than a putter. Midranges are great all-around utility discs that players will use for the majority of their shots. While advanced players often use midranges for many of their shots midrange discs are great discs for players just starting out.

  1. As a forehead dominant player – the Quake is a must-have in the bag
Consistently flat top with a low profile rim feels makes it feel great in the hand
Was looking for “a long zone” or “a straighter zone”
But the Quake does so much more than that
It’s become my go-to forehand and backhand disc for fairway shots, short tee shots and approaches in the 250-275ft range
Was trying to use overstable 9 speed fairway driver in this slot
And I’ve found that the Quake has the same flight but, being a midrange, it’s more controllable with predictable ground play
I’m finding myself lean more and more on the Quake
And the Quake does not disappoint

  2. Overstable torque resistent
