How does the Disclaimer disc retriever work?
The DGA Disc Retriever is a retractable handheld pole with a two-prong hook at the end to grab your discs from hard-to-reach tough spots. The DisClaimer disc retriever can save your favorite discs from thick brush, water hazards, trees… and save you cash by saving your discs! The DiscClaimer will reclaim your cherished disc from those hazards and hard-to-reach places quickly so you can keep aim at the basket’s chain rather than hucking rocks at your disc in the tree, and as a bonus, you can keep your feet and clothes dry when your water shots come up short.

Disc Stuck in the Tree? Reclaim your disc with the DisClaimer disc retriever.

The DGA DiscClaimer disc retriever’s two steel hooks have a tacky rubberized coating that provides a more secure grip than a single hook design and the durable all stainless steel two hook design is easier to get into tight places than a large heavier mouse trap design. While the DiscClaimer disc retriever is compact and lightweight, its durable steel retractable pole extends your reach a full sixteen feet. The tacky rubberized hook coating is orange to better guide the submerged hooks when fishing out discs in the water and when trying to retrieve your disc high in the tree.

– Care Instructions –

  1. When you get dirt or water on the retriever, wipe it off with a clean towel.
  2. If the pole isn’t extending smoothly, apply a dry lubricant.
  3. The DisClaimer is like your extended family; be gentle and keep your distance.

– Unintended Use of the DisClaimer –

  •  Violently thrashing your DisClaimer back and forth in the bushes. It’s not their fault.

  1. Haven’t had to use it yet, but it’s sturdy, well-built, and extends out plenty far.

Q & A

The two pronged hook has come off of my DisClaimer more than once and now the hook is completely gone! I don't know wheere3 or when it came off and the stick is worthless without it. Can I buy a new hook? J. Gary Dropcho asked on January 16, 2024

Hi,
Sorry to hear about the hook coming off. We have replacement hooks here which we can set you up with. Give us a call at 831-722-6037 and one of the folks in the front office will handle that.
Thanks for the question and sorry again for the inconvenience.
