Each consists of 3 beginner friendly DGA discs and is perfect for those who are not familiar with the sport or wanting to try it out for the first time. This set includes 1 PL Sail – Driver, 1 SP Tremor – Midrange, and 1 DL Steady BL – Putter.

DGA Sail distance driver [ SPEED 11, GLIDE 5, TURN -5, FADE 1]:
The DGA Sail distance driver is a very controllable distance driver that is great for all levels of play. The Sail with its understable flight characteristics is perfect for slower arm speeds looking for a long range distance driver. Players with faster arm speeds will have fun launching this disc into huge anhyzers and turn over shots. This DGA distance driver lives up to its name and produces effortless glide allowing players max distance and control. The sail is great for tough drives through tight wooded conditions that need distance and finesse.
Tremor midrange disc [ SPEED 6, GLIDE 5, TURN -4, FADE 1 ]:
The Tremor midrange disc is understable and designed to give players with slower arm speeds better control and greater distances out of their midrange game. The Tremor has amazing glide and produces consistent buttery straight to anhyzer lines with very little effort, making it an ideal disc for players new to the sport. More advanced players will enjoy being able to power down the Tremor and get max distance and control, especially in tight wooded situations.
DGA Steady BL putt and approach disc [ SPEED 2, GLIDE 3, TURN 0, FADE 2 ]:
The DGA Steady BL putt and approach disc pays homage to the father of disc golf and DGA’s founder Ed Headrick who got his nickname from his steady hand and putting prowess. The Steady BL (beadless) has many of the same flight characteristics of the original Steady with the addition of a smooth beadless bottom edge. At low speeds, the Steady BL putter has a hyzer finish and with added speed, the putter provides a steady straight flight path. This putter feels great in the hand and will be a perfect fit for those looking for that smooth feel and clean release that this beadless putter offers.

I bought one of these sets for myself a couple of months ago, and my son liked the putter disc so much that I got a set for him, too. I’m 65 and he’s 39 and we are re-discovering this sport together while introducing his son to it as well.
The webpage explanation of this package helped me choose a “beginner” set, and I found many videos on basics of disc golf that will help me improve. I’ve never used discs designated for specific situations on a course, so I am looking forward to getting out and trying these.
Although I am not a beginner, been playing about 10 years, I am a self confessed hoarder when it comes to DGA plastic. I can’t help my self! So when they advertise a “beginner set” that includes a Steady in d-line plastic, a PL Sail and a SP Tremor I’m all over it!!
The discs came well-packaged. No warp issues.
