The DGA Hurricane offers great glide for a distance driver and is a great high speed driver for players of all skill levels. You’ll find this disc effortless to control and unlike many other wide rim discs, the SP Line Hurricane will feel great in your hand to insure proper release. This driver is DGA Team members favorite go-to driver because it is easy to control and offers reliable fade at the end of its flight.
My go-to distance disc. Proline if I want some understability, and sparkle if I need the flight to finish hyzer. I carry three to five of these hurricanes at all time. I cannot imagine playing without a hurricane.
I like the Hurricane for throws in the 400-450 foot range where I want to hold an anhyzer or hyzer flip a straight shot.
The Hurricane is a great max distance driver for both backhand and forehand throws. With the Hurricane being available in Sparkle and ProLine plastics I am able to use multiple Hurricanes to cover overstable and understable distance shots.
Highly recommended! Best high speed driver I have found for flicking. Consistent flight and finish. Underrated disc at a great price point. Well worth the $ Try one for sure!!!!
I throw a Proline for my understable/tailwind distance, a Flex SP for headwinds, and a regular SP for right in the middle. These are in my opinion one of the most underrated discs out there, and should definitely be considered when looking for consistent distance drivers.
I won a 175g SP hurricane at a local tourney and couldn't be happier. This filled a gap in my side arm drives, just a bit less fade/stability than a Boss and the high speed turn of a Wraith. Absolutely beautiful flight once worked in, side arm drives thrown flat will travel a bit before coming back in for the hyzer finish. Thrown with a touch of anny this thing will fly for days on a beautiful s-curve. Throw with confidence.
